Erik “El Acorazado” Miloc captures WBC FECONSUR title with spectacular knockout in Santa Fe

Rosario in Argentina experienced an unforgettable night of boxing as Morán Boxing Promotions presented a first-class event at the Ros Tower, broadcast by ESPN KnockOut, with local favourite Erik “El Acorazado” Miloc (12-0-1, 11 KOs) emerging as the night’s biggest star.

In front of an enthusiastic hometown crowd, 27-year-old Miloc captured the vacant WBC FECONSUR Middleweight Title by defeating Mexico’s Roberto Carlos “El Pinky” Sánchez Torres by technical knockout in the second round.

From the opening bell, both fighters showed a willingness to exchange and fight for the victory. However, in the second round, the Rosario native completely changed the course of the bout. A powerful right uppercut landed flush on the visiting fighter and sent him to the canvas.

Although Sánchez Torres managed to get back to his feet, Miloc maintained the pressure and launched another attack that resulted in a second knockdown.

With the Mexican visibly hurt and unable to respond effectively, referee Alejandro Grispo correctly stepped in to stop the fight at 2:45 of the second round, awarding Miloc the victory.

The win represents one of the most important moments of Miloc’s career. He continues to establish himself as one of the emerging figures in Argentine boxing and now adds a WBC regional championship to his growing résumé.

The undercard also featured several notable performances. At flyweight, Matías Medina defeated Tiago Dylan González by decision. Alex Nahuel Alfonso stopped Yael Sebastián Chura by technical knockout in the fourth round, while Kevin Brian Furrer scored a third-round knockout over Héctor Emilio Fernández.

Meanwhile, Santiago Cerutti defeated Josué Daniel Zacarías by decision in a featherweight bout.

The successful event confirmed the strong momentum surrounding boxing in Rosario and opened the door for future high-level events with international reach.
