On November 7, Istanbul’s Ülker Arena will set the stage for an action-packed night of boxing as Olympian Mourad Aliev takes on feared, undefeated power-puncher Umut Camkiran in a 12-round contest for the vacant WBC Silver heavyweight championship.

Co-promoted by Ahmet Öner’s Arena Boxing, RMO Boxing, and ProBox TV, the card represents a high-stakes test for both contenders as they look to position themselves at the top of the marquee division.

Standing at an imposing 6-foot-7 with a sharp southpaw stance, Aliyev (15-1, 11 KOs) enters the ring with a distinct reach advantage and elite Olympic pedigree.

Since suffering his sole professional setback against Labinot Xhoxhaj in June 2025, the French heavyweight has rebounded with back-to-back victories, most recently outpointing dangerous heavy-hitter Raphael Akpejiori in May.

For Aliev, the key on November 7 will be establishing his long jab, dictating distance, and preventing the action from descending into inside clinches where short, potent punches can thrive.

On the other side of the ring, Camkiran (25-0, 23 KOs)—popularly known as the “Anatolian Lion”—will fight in front of his home fans boasting an unblemished record and a staggering 92% knockout ratio. Although the 37-year-old already holds regional hardware and a notable victory over veteran Arnold Gjergjaj, Aliyev marks the stiffest test of his career.

He will need to bridge the gap with relentless aggression, cut off the ring, and turn the fight into a close-range power battle.

Beyond the headlining heavyweight showdown, the stacked undercard features an array of compelling international matchups.

Highlighting the support action, Vela takes on Taverdi for the WBC International belt, while Hutsiv collides with Putzi for the WBC Silver International Bridgeweight title.

The card is rounded out by intriguing matchups featuring Plantić vs. Eynullayev, Cituka vs. Sozer, Singh vs. Bajra, Plateias vs. Umudov, Evmorfiadis vs. Kokashvili, and Janjanin vs. Batan.

The event will broadcast live worldwide exclusively on ProBox TV, with local Turkish coverage available exclusively via Türk Telekom Tivibu. Fans looking to attend live at the Ülker Arena can purchase official tickets now through the Passo platform at www.passo.com.tr
