According to reports, undefeated Texan Vergil Ortiz Jr. (23-0, 21 KOs) will return to the ring on November 8 to face American contender Erickson Lubin (27-2, 19 KOs) at Fort Worth, Texas.

27-year-old Dallas-born Ortiz, the current WBC Interim super-welterweight champion, will seek to solidify his position as a mandatory challenger within the Green and Gold hue.

For his part, Lubin comes in after turning down a fight against Bakhram Murtazaliev, who is set to face England's Josh Kelly instead.

Former world title contender, Lubin, 29 from Florida, is staking everything on this opportunity against the Interim champion.
