Sebastian Fundora will defend world title to his mandatory

WBC World super-welterweight champion Sebastian Fundora (24-1-1, 16 KOs) will defend his world title to his mandatory contender Ermal Hadribeaj (23-0-1, 8 KOs) next, promoter Sampson Lewkowicz has announced.

'The Towering Inferno' was last in action in March, stopping Keith 'One Time' Thurman in six. Prior to that, he halted Australian superstar Tim Tszyu in seven to make it three KOs in a row.

Thje 28-year-old southpaw from California has held his WBC belt since March 2024, defending successfully three times.

His fourth defence comes against 'The Albanian Sniper' Ermal Hadribeaj. Unbeaten in 25 bouts, Hadribeaj has managed to reach WBC #1.

Hadribeaj made his pro boxing debut in 2019. He is trained and managed by Donato De Martiis and under his supervision Hadribeaj has won WBC Mediterranean, WBC NABF, WBC International super-welterweight titles.
