Dominican Republic phenomenon Erick “Mini Pacman” Rosa wins two titles in pro debut

Rosa and Valdez win WBC Latino belts in the Dominican Republic

In an historic night for sports in the Dominican Republic, Erick “Mini Pacman” Rosa (1-0), in his professional debut, won the World Boxing Council Straw-weight Latino belt, by defeating Mexican Óscar Bermúdez  (5-4, 2KOs) via a unanimous decision.

As soon as the protocol was concluded to start the fight with the songs of the anthems of Mexico and the Dominican Republic, the bell rang and the fighters stood advanced with determination.

Right away, Erick “Mini Pacman” Rosa went on the attack against Oscar Bermudez, landing accurate blows, with the Mexican stoically soaking them up.

The stellar fight of the card called “Boxing in Times of Pandemic”, was held at the Hotel Catalonia Malecón Center in Santo Domingo, in the Dominican Republic, organized by The King of Boxing company, and was carried out with strict sanitary control.
