David Benavidez heaps praise upon Anthony Yarde

Two-weight world champion David Benavidez defends his WBC and WBA light-heavyweight titles to two-time world title contender Anthony Yarde, this Saturday night, November 22, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, live on DAZN .

In a face-off on fight week, "The Beast from the East" admitted he believes he hits harder than Benavidez, known as "The Mexican Monster" for his aggressive style and powerful punching.

Although the champion immediately disagreed, he took time to praise his upcoming opponent, Yarde, "At the end of the day, this guy has tremendous power, he has a great boxing ability, he has a great hook.

"I've checked everything out, I've watched him really good; he does a lot of stuff good.

"I've got to be on my p's and q's, I gotta be 110%, and this is why I'm motivated for this fight.

"Because this is guy is super hungry; I'm super hungry. And this is what we need in the sport of boxing, we need two fighters that just want to go in there and give the fans the best fight possible."
