Dropped twice, Eubank Jr. claims to have "been to hell and back" for Conor Benn rematch

Sharp, calm, controlled Conor Benn (24-1, 14 KOs) put on a dominant performance to exact revenge over bitter rival Chris Eubank Jr. (35-4, 25 KOs) seal a wide unanimous decision victory in their rematch at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday, November 15, 2025, live on DAZN .

Eubank, aged 36, who won on points when they first fought in April, looked very gun-shy throughout and had no answer to an enthused, heavy-handed Benn.

29-year-old Benn held a wide lead going into the final round when he decked Eubank twice before triumphantly jumping up on to the ropes to celebrate when the final bell rang as deflated Eubank Jr. just looked on, breathless and beaten.

The judges scored it 119-107, 116-110 and 118-108 in Benn's favour, a reflection of the under-par performance the Brighton boxer put in.

"This is the end of the Benn-Eubank saga, over. Chris has twins coming and I have my boy, but this ends here," Benn adamantly affirmed.

"Everyone says I can't box, put that in your pipe and smoke it!

"This wouldn't have been what it was without Chris. Our dads most of all, this is generational, never been done before in history. Credit to Chris, thank you for sharing the ring with me."

'The Destroyer' has been labelled as a brawler throughout his career, but proved to everyone that he can be technical.

After moving up two divisions from welterweight to middleweight, Benn achieved something his father Nigel was unable to do in the 1990s - earning victory against a Eubank.

"Not bad for two silver spoon kids!" Benn said, in a reference to both fighters growing up with famous dads.

"I fancy [Mario] Barrios for the WBC world title, Ryan Garcia, [Rolly] Romero, Devin Haney, all of them can get it. Any day of the week, and twice on Sundays."

“I genuinely thought that regardless of the issues that I have been dealing with, I would be able to go in there and win, use my boxing skills and use what I used in the first fight to beat Conor Benn.

“From that first round, I realised that I was mistaken, but it's OK. I'm a fighter and this is what I do. Regardless of the dangers and the risk, we go to war and that's what we do.

“I tried my best. Conor Benn put on a hell of a fight, he had a great performance and did everything that was asked of him. I congratulate him for his performance."

Tony Bellew: “He was out jabbed, outworked and bullied. All of the good things came good to Conor Benn. That was the difference. Benn used the speed and size to his advantage. [Eubank] couldn't deal with Conor Benn. As convincing and one-sided a win as you'll ever see in boxing.”

Dan Morley: "I thought that Benn boxed well and actually gave Eubank very little to work with. He feinted, remained an elusive target, chipped away at the body, set up the right hand well with the jab and refused to be clinched. Eubank wasn't the same force as he was the first time round, that much was clear to see. When he did offer aggression, it seemed clunky, mechanical and to lack energy, his best hope was to lure Benn in and counter him, but Benn was wise to that and didn't overcommit as he did the first time round."

Tim Rickson: "I was convinced that it wouldn't live up to the first fight. Eubank was very subdued and flat, and didn't seem to have the same fitness, confidence or aggression from last time. I found his performance a bit bizarre, but he is clearly done at middleweight, perhaps done completely. I don't want to take away from Conor Benn's performance though, he boxed brilliantly, so much more improved and intelligent, I particularly respected his refusal to be held, avoiding all clinches, and I wouldn't rule out his chances of winning a world title against Mario Barrios after that showing."
