Tokyo 2020 silver medallist Ben Whittaker (10-0-1, 7 KOs) was cruelly robbed of his IBF belt immediately after his stunning knockout over German Benjamin Gavazi on Saturday night, November 30.

Unbeaten light-heavyweight star, Whittaker, made quick work of his once-beaten opponent, Gavazi, with a savage first-round knockout. The 28-year-old claimed the vacant WBC Silver title with the victory, which will elevate his #9 world ranking.

But the euphoria was undeservingly dampened when the West Midlander returned home to discover his house in Wednesbury had been burgled while he was out entertaining thousands on DAZN . The thieves even stole his IBF International title that he won last year.

Disgruntled yet spirited, Whittaker wrote on social media: "Come back, house has been burgled. But Wednesbury, I got a big, big reward. Find these people - let me know.

"They've even took my IBF belt. Let me know, hit me up in the DMs. Big reward. Much love."

Whittaker won the IBF International light-heavyweight title in June 2024 against tough Nigerian-born Brit, Eworitse Ezra Arenyeka at Selhurst Park.

His latest win, last weekend, marked his Matchroom Boxing debut after he left BOXXER to sign with Eddie Hearn in October .
