British boxer Elliot Elimasi backs Tyson Fury to get revenge against Oleksandr Usyk

Rising British cruiserweight star Elliot Elimasi believes Tyson Fury will get his revenge over Oleksandr Usyk in their rematch in Riyadh on Saturday, hoping to follow their paths to glory as he begins his pro career.

The North Londoner kicked off his pro career with a second-round knockout over winning fighter Jairo Nustes at the York Hall, live on TNT Sports.

Speaking to BetVictor , Islington's Elimasi is convinced fellow Brit, Fury, can turn the tide against his old foe.

Fury vs Usyk “Reignited” begins where we left off in May, with both men fighting not just for titles, but for legacy.

A split decision separated them the first time around, with Usyk becoming Undisputed World Heavyweight champion in front of a record audience across the globe.

Elimasi said, "As one of Frank Warren’s new signings, I will be looking to follow in both men’s footsteps, with ambitions to dominate the boxing world in the future.

"When you see two fighters put in decades of work and sacrifice, and the reward it gets them, you can’t help but be inspired.

"And it is not just the fight itself, when you see everything the Saudis have organised for this week, Grand Arrivals, Public Workouts, Press Conferences, Weigh-ins, it all adds to the drama and suspense.

"I think this time Fury will get the win, but for me, I’ll be soaking in the whole occasion, with the aim of one day being world champion myself.

"Whatever the result this Saturday night in Riyadh, expect a close contest, expect controversy, expect drama and expect a third fight in 2025 should Fury reclaim his crown.

"And before we get to the main event, eight fights take place on the undercard, which include Eddie Hearn’s young prospect Johnny Fisher and Frank Warren’s Moses Itauma.

"Moses has been a part of Fury’s training camp in the build up to this fight and is hotly tipped to be the man to take the baton from the Gypsy King when he finally calls it a day in the future.

"Moses and I are both signed to Frank and I know he has everything it takes to reach the very top."
