Teen boxing talent Callum Dan is the youngest pro boxer from Britain

Rising teenage boxing prospect Callum Dan (5-0, 5 KOs) has signed a management contract at just 16-years-old with leading India‑based boxing organisation Marine Pro Boxing, in a move designed to accelerate his development on the international stage and pave the way towards fighting in front of a home crowd in the UK when he turns 18 in March 2027.

Despite being the UK's youngest pro boxer, the Plymouth puncher has already had five pro fights, all in Thailand, where he was crowned an Asian Boxing Federation middleweight champion in October 2025 in Bangkok. Despite his young age, the teenager has managed to knock out all five of his foes so far - all in rounds one, two and three.

Marine Pro Boxing’s backing will include targeted investment in raising Callum’s profile, and this support is intended to give Dan the space to do what he does best: focus on training, developing, and growing his boxing IQ in real fight settings on the international stage, building on the experience he is already gaining as a licensed Thai Boxing Federation fighter.

“This deal means Callum can concentrate on his craft,” said Devraj Das, founder of Marine Pro Boxing and owner of Global Boxing Series . “He’s an incredibly disciplined young fighter, and with Marine Pro Boxing behind him we can be more deliberate about his development, his activity, and the stages he appears on.”

Callum has won all five fights within just seven months between April to October 2025. His pro debut was in just two rounds on April 6, 2025, then he went 2-0 just three weeks later, taking just 44 seconds to register another knockout win. He knocked out his next two opponents in the second rounds, the fights placed just six days apart.

Four months later, he won his first pro title by stopping Ratthaphum Ngambaisri in round three of a scheduled 10 to lift the vacant Asian Boxing Federation middleweight belt, a title first won in 2019 by another British boxer, Michael Alan Flannery, from Ormskirk in Lancashire.

As 2026 begins, preparation is underway for his first fight of the year, anticipated for late February in Thailand, with plans for three to four further bouts over the year on the international stage across Asia and India, all building towards gaining his professional licence with the British Boxing Board of Control and eventually boxing professionally in front of a home crowd.

At a time when so much of the news cycle is dominated by difficulties and uncertainty, Callum’s signing with Marine Pro Boxing marks a positive milestone for a young athlete determined to make the most of his talent and opportunities.
