War in the Ring for the vacant WBC Francophone lightweight title

Promoted by the Boxe 85 club, the Arena des Sables d'Olonne in France will open its doors at 7pm on Saturday, October 31, 2026, for a WBC championship main event.

The local standout fighter Enzo Grau (9-2-1, 2 KOs) goes up against dangerous Cameroonian contender Christopher Mouafo (12-2, 6 KOs).

On one side, hometown favourite Enzo Grau will step into the ring backed by the momentum of his latest and decisive unanimous decision victory over Sagar Chand.

The 26-year-old has experienced three eight-round bouts in a row, but this will be his first time stepping up to a 10-round championship contest.

Armed with a polished technique, incredible hand speed, and outstanding tactical ring IQ, Grau aims to cement his status in front of his home fans and claim the WBC crown.

In the opposite corner will be rugged African brawler Christopher Mouafo, who arrives with momentum after securing a wide decision win over Victor Julio in his most recent outing.

The Swiss title contender has won a WBO Global lightweight title during his four-year pro career.

Endowed with respectable punching power and relentless pressure, Mouafo travels to French territory with the firm mission of spoiling the night for the local idol and taking the coveted belt back to Cameroon.
