After confirming his comeback from retirement, "The Gypsy King" reeled off the only rivals he will be willing to fight in 2026: "AJ, Usyk, Dubois, any of them or maybe all of them."

He added, with a warning: "But if there is no turn on, I will stay retired."

Speaking at BoxFest 3, Tyson Fury confirmed he will make a comeback next year, but definitely will not be fighting any earlier this year.

The Morecombe man was the special guest at BoxPark Wembley at a pre-fight party for the Usyk-Dubois showdown later that night.

He said, “I miss it. I do miss it, every single day I wake up in the morning and miss it. I’ve been away seven months, missed it everyday.

“I’m open to offers at the moment.

“I’m not going to do any comebacks this year, that’s for sure. I’m busy, as you can see I’ve got Netflix here. I’m filming ‘At Home with the Furys’ season two.

“And then next year, the big GK is going to make a f—ing comeback! The takeover! I’m going to be 37 in about three weeks so I’m going to be the oldest swinger with all these young boys coming up, it’s going to be difficult.”

Two-time world heavyweight champion Fury hasn’t been active since his second defeat at the hands of Oleksandr Usyk in December 2024. It was Fury’s second loss that year, having also been beaten by the Ukrainian seven months earlier in May.

Usyk was crowned undisputed heavyweight champion for a second time on Saturday night after a five-round demolition job on IBF titlist Daniel Dubois.

Fury’s friend Joseph Parker addressed Usyk in the ring immediately afterwards asking for his shot next, but the champion just said he needs rest and doesn’t know what’s next, pushing any chance of him fighting again back to at least December this year.

Parker is first in line to challenge the undisputed champ as the WBO Interim titleholder.
