Dalton Smith vs Alberto Puello weights, running order, ringwalks

Dalton Smith told Alberto Puello that his WBC World Super Lightweight Championship is going nowhere as the rivals weighed-in and faced off for a final time before their showdown in the Steel City on Saturday night – live worldwide on DAZN.

Roared on by his home crowd, Smith took to the scales at 139.6lbs with mandatory challenger Puello coming in at an identical weight.

The two-time former World Champion Dominican southpaw harbours hope of reclaiming the coveted Green & Gold belt, which he lost to the man who Dalton defeated in Subriel Matias.

But Smith, ready to shine in his first defence on home soil at the Utilita Arena, told Puello that his title is staying in Sheffield.

Speaking to SJA Award winning broadcaster Jamie Ward, Smith said: "There is no pressure for me. All the years of hard work and sacrifice, I am made for moments like this.

"You can see all the people who have turned out and the support I have. I've dreamt of nights like this and tomorrow night, it is going to be special.

"I just told him that he's scared and that this is my house. I have worked my whole life to become a World Champion and tomorrow I am going to do the same. And still!"

On the stacked undercard, Lightweight prospect Giorgio Visioli bids for a statement victory against the vastly experienced local favourite Maxi Hughes as the collide for the WBC International Silver Title.

Plus Emma Dolan and Shannon Ryan collide in a brilliant rematch with the British, Commonwealth and IBF Intercontinental Titles at stake. Plus, unbeaten Heavyweight wonderkid Leo Atang steps up in his toughest test to date whilst Newcastle's Cruiserweight sensation Divine Omojor makes his professional debut.
