American Marcus Browne will have a tough test this Saturday night when he faces tough Canadian Jean Pascal, with the fight transmitted live on FOX PBC Fight Night from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Browne, the WBC light heavyweight silver champion, has mbeen making his preparations in Colorado for this important fight.
“This is the second time I go to Colorado as part of my training camp,” Browne said. “My performance on August 3 will show why I do this, but it is basically because I am able to concentrate on myself and on the most important thing in front of me, and that is Pascal.”
In his most recent fight, Browne won the 175-pound WBC Silver title with a victory over Badou Jack, a former two-divisional champion.
“In my fight against Badou Jack, I just wanted to prove that I have real skills, and that I am not just a puncher. I also know how to box,” Browne said. “Now I am a better fighter in general. I am constantly growing and on August 3 I will show an even higher level.”
Unbeaten Polish heavyweight star Adam Kownacki and former title challenger Chris Arreola headline the Brooklyn boxing bonanza this weekend.
