Matchroom Boxing’s upcoming London show next Saturday, August 22, headlined by George Liddard vs Dario Morello for the vacant EBU European Middleweight Title, will now be staged at the Copper Box Arena in London – broadcast live worldwide on DAZN.

The decision comes following temporary issues with York Hall which means it is no longer a viable venue.

Matchroom Boxing extended its thanks to Greenwich Leisure Limited (GLL), who operates the Copper Box Arena on behalf of the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC).

The multi-sport venue was purposely built for the 2012 Summer Olympics, located in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London, and has a capacity of 7,000, considerably more than the York Hall which can fit around 1,200 into his hallowed walls.

Further ticket news, including details of additional tickets, will be released on Monday with all prior purchases retaining their tickets.
