Super lightweight contender Gabriel “Gollaz” Valenzuela (17-2-1, 10 KOs) scored a fourth round KO over former top contender Nery ¨Pantera¨ Saguilán (39-12-1, 13 KO) on Saturday night at the Domo Parque Solidaridad in Tonalá, Jalisco, Mexico.
The fight began with Valenzuela, 34 from Guadalajara, attacking without waiting for the experienced Saguilan to make his move.
In the fourth round, when the “Panther” tried to match the actions, a violent straight right of “Gollaz” exploded on Nery’s face, sending him sprawling to the canvas.
Nery could not get up and Gabriel Valenzuela won the FECARBOX super lightweight title as a result.
