British Championships Circular released on October 10, 2024
In the latest British Championships Circular for October 2024, 'Super' Dan Azeez gets a chance to recapture his British light-heavyweight belt he once held for over two years between November 2021 to February 2024, as his forthcoming fight with Lewis Edmondson on October 19 as been approved by the BBBofC.
This weekend, one of best British heavyweight title fights in recent history will be played back as titleholder Fabio Wardley faces rival Frazer Clarke in a rematch in Riyadh.
It's not all good news, however, as Louis Greene has unfortunately suffered an injury and his clash with Sam Gilley will now be postponed to a later date.
But the welcome news of Dennis McCann vs Peter McGrail for the British and European super-bantamweight titles on the Fury-Usyk 2 undercard has delighted fight fans around the world. This clash will not only be a fantastic advert for British boxing, broadcast to the globe, but could potentially be one of the best fights of the year.
