The "Terminator" claims WBC belt in Dubai

Undefeated Israeli Yan "Terminator" Zak (9-0, 7 KOs) is the new WBC Middle East cruiserweight champion following an impressive knockout victory in Dubai.

Competing on Saturday’s BATL Boxing Promotions event in Dubai, Yan Zak produced a strong performance against Tanzanian Peter Mysoka (14-2, 14 KOs) before bringing the contest to an end with a fourth-round knockout.

The victory saw Zak secure the WBC Middle East cruiserweight title and mark an important milestone in his professional career.

It's the 26-year-old's third 10-rounder in a row, but has won all three within the distance, in rounds two, five and four, respectively.

Now with his new WBC belt around his waist, a world ranking will follow, promising big fights on the horizon.
