Cuban southpaw Yusniel Abrahante (8-2, 1 KO) aims to cause another upset on October 2 against unbeaten KO artist Jordon Orozco (17-0, 17 KOs) at the Caribe Royal in Orlando.

The bantamweights will clash for the WBA Continental Gold title in the co-main event of Matchroom Boxing's second edition of its Project Series, live on DAZN.

The 25-year-old is known for upsetting prospects and ruining records, but Orozco will be his most difficult opponent to date.

Yusniel Abrahante was born in Cuba on January 3rd, 2001.

His nickname in "La Maquina," which translates to "The Machine."

Yusniel won his pro debut in March 2021 in just 26 seconds!

Abrahante has defeated three unbeaten prospects and three debutants in just 10 bouts.

His career-best victory came against the unbeaten prospect Luis Coria (5-1, 5 KOs), who entered the fight with a perfect record and a 100% knockout ratio. Yusniel defeated him by unanimous decision over six-rounds - 60-54 and 59-55 x2.

He is signed to Bobby Harrison's BiYu Promotions and based in Louisville, Kentucky.

“I love being the underdog because I've already shown what can happen when people count me out. They counted me out against Luis Coria. I went into his backyard, fought my fight and gave him the first loss of his professional career. If people want to doubt me again, that's fine. Every person who doubts me gives me another reason to train harder. I've been hungry my whole career, and I'm coming into this fight with something to prove.
