Archie Sharpshooter returns to the ring with a win

On his 28th birthday, WBO #1 super-featherweight Archie 'Sharpshooter' Sharp (23-0, 9KO) celebrated with a points win over Mauro Perouene (15-8-1, 8KO) at the York Hall in Bethnal Green on Friday, April 14.

The 28-year-old unbeaten talent from Welling, now trained by Roy Jones Jr , was last seen in action against Romanian Alex Rat in June 2022 in Leeds, which was his only fight of the year .

On this Friday's Bateson Promotions show, Sharp dominated Argentinian southpaw Perouene over 10 rounds in his first fight of the year. Full results below:
