WBC World Female heavyweight champion Alejandra Jiménez drops down to face super-middleweight champ Franchon Crews Dezurn

Alejandra Jiménez is confident she can drop three divisions to win super-middleweight world title

Mexico’s Alejandra “Tigre” Jiménez (12-0-1 9 KO’s), WBC world heavyweight champion, is determined to pounce on a lower division in order to earn her stripes.

“Tiger” will face American Franchon Crews Dezurn (5-1-0, 2 KO’s), WBC super-middleweight champion, on Saturday September 14 at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.

The fight between Alejandra and the champion, will be part of the card for “Big Cats,” starring Mexican Jaime Munguía and Ghanaian Patrick Allotey, fighting for the WBC Mayan belt.

“Tiger” pledges that she's left no stone unturned in her preparation for the “Lion”, guided by manager, Samuel “Sammy” Uribe, because she has the ability to stalk the super-middleweight suprema, who conquered the title after defeating Maricela “Diva” Cornejo by MD in September 2018.

“I am completely determined and motivated to dethrone Franchon. I have absolutely no doubts in fulfilling the goal that I set on me since last year. So now I have the opportunity and I will not fail in the attempt. I'll return to Cancun with the WBC super-middle belt,” unbeaten Jimenez confidently claimed.

Franchon, who went the distance with two-divisional champ Claressa shields on her debut, was ordered to defend against her mandatory Jiminez by the WBC in August .
