WBC International double-header on July 11 in Rome

Two WBC International titles up for grabs in Italy

On July 11, boxing will feature in Rome, organized by Opi Since 82 and Matchroom Boxing Italy and the main event will star Fabio Turchi versus Briton Tommy McCarthy, with the International WBC Cruiserweight belt at stake; with the live broadcast by DAZN.

Light heavyweight rising star from Turkey, Turchi, who holds a record of 17-0 with 13 knockouts, comes from a stunning first round victory against Finn Sami Enbom, which allowed him to win the WBC strap in April.

McCarthy (14-2, 7KO) suffered a fourth round loss against Londoner Richard Riakporhe, but the silver medal winner at the Commonwealth Games recovered with a third round knockout victory in his native Belfast last month.

Also, Roman Emanuele Blandamura (29-3, 5KO), will face Englishman Marcus Morrison (20-3, 14KO) for the WBC International Silver middleweight belt.
