WBC appoint Duane Ford as the Ring Officials Committee Chairman

WBC announcement on Duane Ford appointment

The WBC released the following statement today, October 12:

"The World Boxing Council has appointed Duane Ford as the Ring Officials Committee Chairman. Duane Ford is currently the North American Boxing Federation (NABF) President and has been very important for the implementation of ring officials training and evaluation throughout the years in the United States and many countries in the world.

Duane Ford retired as a judge after one of the greatest careers in such position and since then joined the WBC as a member of the Board of Governors.

Duane Ford has many ideas and priorities which will be of great service to boxing through the ring officials committee.
