Monabesa and Landero to dispute WBC International title

Indonesian Tibo Monabesa (20-1-2, 8KOs) will fight Filipino T oto Landero (11-4-2, 2KOs) for the vacant international light flyweight title of the World Boxing Council, on March 21 in Jakarta, in an event promoted by Armin Tan.

More than a year ago, Monabesa defeated Australian Omari Kimweri with a convincing unanimous decision victory.

Against Filipino fighters, Monabesa has five wins and a draw, while Toto Landero had an amazing performance in his last fight against compatriot Joel Lino.

One of his most notable victories was against world champion Victorio Saludar.
