Aussie star Teremoana Teremoana towered over American rival DeAndre Savage in their final face-off after the heavyweights hit the scales before their showdown Down Under - live on DAZN’s Kayo Sports.

The undefeated Australian Olympic star (11-0, 11 KOs) has a tall order in front of him when he meets American knockout artist DeAndre Savage in the main event at The Star Gold Coast on Wednesday.

Savage tipped the scales the heavier of the two at 296.63lbs, with Teremoana weighing in 2-stone lighter at 267.13lbs, as he looks to land his biggest win to date.

Michael Zerafa will also be out to make a statement of his own when the new Matchroom Boxing recruit looks to defeat dangerous South American opponent Alejandro Ortiz, knowing a victory will propel him to some huge fight nights as well as offer some redemption.

"Teremoana is being built up as Matchroom's next big star from Australia, so they are lining up opponents with impressive records. He is pretty quick for a 6ft 6in guy and he throws a lot of punches. He starts fights fast, naturally aggressive, looking to land copiously with jabs , one-twos, big left hooks.

"No one has made it past the second round with the 2024 Olympian, not just because he is powerful, but also due to his activity, he's very busy and active for a heavyweight, but Savage also boasts the same number of KOs, with just one opponent making it to the third round with him.

"So, there will be a clear and present danger for the Australian throughout the contest, especially since DeAndre's last KO took just 45 seconds. Teremoana has taken a few clean shots himself, taken them well, but he won't want to be on the receiving end of too many from a man with a 100% KO ratio.

"Teremoana may not be winning this with another quick KO, as Savage went the full 10-rounds with American champion Brandon Moore recently.
