Terence Crawford has cemented himself as the best of the best with his win over Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez.

The American put on a true display of boxing brilliance , outpointing the Mexican legend over 12 rounds of hard-fought action.

His triumph saw him crowned as the three-weight undisputed champion in the four-belt era.

It appears as though the 37-year-old has now accomplished everything there is to accomplish within the sport, and many are questioning what his next move will be.

Fellow all-time great, Roy Jones Jr., has since suggested that the best move for his countryman would be to hang up his gloves and call it quits while he's at the top.

"If he retires next, it’d be the best thing,” Jones said to Titan Play .

"Had I retired after I beat Antonio Tarver the first time, we wouldn’t be having conversations about the greatest of all time. And we still shouldn’t, because facts are facts.”

However, he did go on to reveal that if Crawford decides to fight on, he has earned the right to chase a big PPV payday.

Crawford and MMA star Illia Topuria have had an ongoing internet feud , with each man throwing verbal jabs, and Topuria really pushing for a fight with the pound-for-pound king.

“But if Crawford does anything more, that’s what he should do [fight Ilia Topuria],” The retired world champion revealed.

"He deserves the reward at this time.

"Look how long he waited before he got the attention he has now. He deserves one more of those. If anything, that’s what he should do.”
