Rockin’ Fights 55 undercard fights preview

Four top fights fill up the Rockin’ Fights 55 card

Two Queens neighborhoods. One ring. Bragging rights on the line.

This Saturday, October 10, Ridgewood meets Astoria at The Paramount - and both sides have something to prove.

Undefeated FDNY firefighter Raymond "The Scientist" Cuadrado (8-0, 3 KOs) steps into the main event carrying Ridgewood pride and the support of his first responder family. Across the ring: Efstathios “The Greek God” Antonas (13-3-2, 4 KOs), a former national champion in Greece whose Astoria faithful will be ready to make themselves heard.

Cuadrado wants to keep his perfect record. Antonas wants to hand him his first defeat. Expect a loud, passionate crowd when these two collide in an old-school New York neighborhood showdown.

Pick your side. Bring your crew. Be there when the bell rings.

Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing brings additional compelling matchups to Huntington for Rockin’ Fights 55:

Can Huntington’s knockout artist make it six for six?

Ralph Clemente (5-0, 5 KOs) has stopped every opponent he has faced. Now he meets Brooklyn’s Kamron Humphrey (5-3, 3 KOs). Can Clemente protect his hometown turf—or will Humphrey spoil another homecoming?

An FDNY favorite faces an upset specialist

Bronx firefighter Louis Maietta brings his passionate following back to The Paramount against El Paso’s Eduardo “Demoledor” Monrreal, whose knockout of previously unbeaten Austin Cassese proved he can wreck a hometown celebration. With both men willing to stand and trade, this matchup has the makings of a crowd favorite.

A rising prospect meets a fighter’s first big moment

After an impressive showing at the last Rockin’ Fights, Yousaf Zazai (1-0, 1 KO) returns to face Las Vegas newcomer Robbie Cutler, making his professional debut. One wants to build momentum. The other wants to make an unforgettable first impression.

Brooklyn power meets North Carolina experience

Ra-Leek Born (4-0, 4 KOs) brings a perfect knockout record into his matchup with Markus Bowes, an 18-fight veteran looking to use his experience to derail another rising prospect.
