Preview: Denzel Bentley vs Mark Heffron 2 - Who will prevail in second instalment of British middleweight clash?

GBN preview the rematch between Mark Heffron and Denzel Bentley that takes place on Friday night in London

Mark Heffron will take on Denzel Bentley once again on Friday 13th November in a middleweight rematch after fighting to a unanimous decision draw back in September, where both fighters could have possibly made cases for winning the fight.

The fight takes place live on BT Sport and will be held at the BT Sport Studio in Stratford.

GBN Editor Ben Davies takes a look at the main event and the undercard ahead of Friday night's action: Main Event

The middleweights will battle again on Friday night after both raising their hands in a tremendous fight back in September that was scored as a unanimous decision draw leaving both fighters demanding a rematch, and now have the added bonus of the recently vacated British middleweight title left by Liam Williams.

Both Bentley and Heffron made their cases at the end of the fight, stating they had won the fight especially Denzel Bentley who felt aggrieved after flooring Heffron in the second round, applying early pressure with aggresive power punching.

Heffron however managed to wrestle back control and dominated several of the middle rounds, showing exactly why he still belonged with the country's top middleweights having only been defeated once by Liam Williams, leaving the judges a tight decision to make and they all scored the fight at 95-95.

The fight will now take place over twelve rounds, stepped up from a ten stanza contest in the first meeting and will provide an interesting opportunity for both fighters with Heffron more than likely keen to take the fight the whole distance to hand himself the best chance at victory.

Kid Dynamite' cannot be taken lightly into the fight on a superb run of consecutive victories before the initial fight with 'Too Sharp', two via stoppage and twoby unanimous decision on the scorecards, and the Oldham fighter has a superb top level pedigree having fought in 27 bouts to date, and experiencing world-level competition having been former WBC international titlist at middleweight.

The fight will once again impose two contrasting styles against each other, with Heffron possessing a great-all-round technique and will look to be sharp throughout and throw a great volume of punches to try and assert control and experience on the fight. He also uses his jab extremely well and will look to create distance and a steady tempo to try and gain a foothold on the judge's scorecards again after being knocked down in the second round.

Heffron imposed his style throughout the first fight, taking some explosive shots well into his stride and continuing to box well and using the jab and whipping body shots to take the wind out of the early sails of Bentley, and dealt extremely proficiently with the constant changing stances. No doubt, Heffron will want to prove himself at a high domestic level once again and by defeating Bentley and dismantling one of the top middleweight prospects in Britain.

His opponent was sensational before the initial contest, having been undefeated in his thirteen professional contests and displaying in every bout, his hugely unorthodox style continuing to switch up his angles with a tremendous shot selection and posessing a great bang and power which he unveiled against Mick Hall on BT Sport earlier in the calendar year before recieving his call to take on Heffron.

Battersea fighter Bentley has an unorthodox style with a huge range of mixed shots, which will no-doubt raise uncertainty around the outcome of the fight, and boxes with style and grace with heavy hands and works well from the hips which he showed scoring a stiff shot that put Heffron on the canvas, so could be an awkward customer for Heffron once again should he be able to land some damaging shots at different stanzas of the fight and try to force an earlier stoppage if damage is inflicted.

'Too Sharp' has already shown his explosive and powerful approach in the ring throughout his career, and his arbitary technique has lead to an unpredictable build up to the fight, with the outcome almost impossible to discover just like in the first contest until the early stages of the fight have taken place, and we will see whether Heffron can withstand the unforessable power shots and if knocked down launch another response and impose his experience and control to gain yet again a comeback on the early scorecards.

It is a highly anticipated fight due to it's explosive first contest with both fighters leaving with a sour taste after being ruled as a draw which could end with a range of different outcomes. However we may see another dominant looking performance from Heffron who will once again be keen to assert his experience, but Bentley's ferocious power and counter-punching technique will continue to create a threat so could go either way, but Bentley will have that extra-desire to maintain his undefeated status and prove that he on this occasion has learnt from his mistakes and is able to force an earlier stoppage or box with more technique and speed to dismantle the Heffron experience and control.

Prediction: Denzel Bentley via stoppage- another explosive fight with plaudits given to tough Heffron!

The return of Tommy Fury

Half-brother of Tyson Fury, Tommy is yet to recieve any kind of real test having won his first three professional bouts against fighters with severe losing records so far.

However after stating his full commitment to the sport after his stint on Reality TV show Love Island, 'TNT' has been working hard with the world heavyweight champion's trainer Sugarhill Steward who has given him a much more trojan training camp and offering the young Briton a schooling in the art of boxing which Fury say's has helped break down his boxing ability and learn everything from the basics to really set a platform to launch his career.

The 21 year old will need to make a small step up under Frank Warren in order to begin to make a statement under the famous 'Fury name' but clearly posesses a desire to make a name for himself in the sport as a light-heavyweight with fighters such as Anthony Yarde, Lyndon Arthur also fighting in the same stable under Warren, so could try to push for a big future in the sport with top corner-men working around him at such a young age.

Undercard

A tasty looking contest tops the undercard with undefeated southern area champion Chris Bourke taking on English champion Michael Ramabeletsa in a bantamweight contest.

Also on the card, undefeated super flyweight Kaisy Khademi takes on Jiaz Ahmed with the IBF and WBO belts at stake, with Khademi making his Queensberry debut, off the back of a gripping story to become a boxer which started as a refugee.

Massood Abdullah also makes his debut in the stable, boxing in a super featherweight contest on Friday night.
