Oliver McCall drew with Carlos Reyes on a Tuesday night

Oliver McCall drew for the first time in his 78-fight, 40-year pro career at the age of 60.

The former WBC world heavyweight champion, Oliver McCall (61-14-1, 40 KOs), drew over six-rounds against a 48-year-old fighter with a losing record from Arizona, Carlos Reyes (7-17-3, 5 KOs).

The heavyweights fought on a Tuesday night in Nashville on June 3rd, scored 58-56 to McCall, 58-56 to Reyes, and 57-57 even.

The name of the event was "Country Box - Where Music Meets Boxing". According to reports, McCall got off to a dominant start, but barley threw a punch in the final two rounds, where Reyes was able to win the rounds back. Apparently, he was led to believe it was a four-rounder, not six.

Even more worryingly, he is said to be fighting former two-time world heavyweight champ Shannon Briggs, 53, next, on Triller TV, as both boxers are managed by Jimmy Adams.

Despite being 60, McCall hasn't lost in his last five fights, spanning six years. Earlier this year, in February, he stopped 52-year-old Gary Cobia in just one round, and he secured two second-round stoppages prior to that.

However, it was over 30 years ago when he became world champion by stopping all-time great Lennox Lewis in the second-round of their 1994 fight in Wembley.

Their rematch in 1997 became famous for Oliver's mental breakdown in the ring, where he appeared to be distraught and refused to fight.

Known as "the Atomic Bull", McCall has never being knocked down in his 78-bout professional career and possessed one of the most durable chins of his time. He was also known to be Mike Tyson's top sparring partner.
