Who would win the second time around?

It's been over a decade since Manny Pacquiao (62-8, 39 KO’s) and Floyd Mayweather (50-0, 27 KO’s) locked horns in their historic 2015 welterweight clash.

‘Money’ Mayweather tasted victory on that fateful night, unifying the belts and cementing himself as one of the all-time greats.

Not long after, both men called it quits from the pro ranks; however, neither has managed to completely steer away from the sport.

Mayweather has fought in many high-profile exhibition bouts since his 50-0 retirement celebration versus Conor McGregor.

Manny Pacquiao did venture into politics, rising all the way to Senator of the Philippines; however, he has since dipped his toes back into the professional ranks . Most recently, he pushed the far younger Mario Barrios to a split decision draw as he challenged for the WBC welterweight crown.

With both men having kept themselves active - and seemingly unable to hang up the gloves for good - a historic second clash between the pair is looking more and more likely.

Speaking in a press conference, the Filipino icon hinted that a 2026 fight with Mayweather is definitely on the cards .

"Right now we have a lot of negotiations about my next fight - there's a possible rematch with Floyd Mayweather," Pacquiao said.

"There's a lot of ongoing negotiations right now, so it's hard to plan what fight I'm going to post. I'm waiting for the final negotiation.

"I'd love to have another fight, a rematch with Floyd Mayweather. So I hope that in the negotiations, we can understand each other and we can negotiate well."
