Lindokuhle Khuzwayo vs Rilwan Lawal inaugural IBO All-Africa featherweight showdown

There will be an historic moment on November 1st as Lindokuhle Khuzwayo (6-0-1, 4 KOs) and Rilwan Lawal (20-2, 13 KOs) get set to lock horns for the brand-new IBO All-Africa featherweight title in South Africa.

The IBO All-Africa title was initially introduced in 2009, with the inaugural fight held between Hekkie Budler and Charity Mukondeleli at light-flyweight, but the championship has never been contested at featherweight, until now.

South African Lindokuhle Khuzwayo, managed by Sean Smith, hasn't lost since his pro debut in October 2023.

This will be his first title fight just as he completes two full years in the paid ranks. His last bout with countryman Jeff Magagane ended in a draw over six-rounds. Khuzwayo has won all his over six contests, four via KO - all in the first half of the fights.

Rilwan Lawal is 33 from Nigeria. Nicknamed 'Real Show Boy', the Lagos fighter has won Nigerian, West African and African titles during his eight-year pro career.
