There is a packed night of action at The SSE Arena, Wembley topped by the vacant WBO Cruiserweight World Title showdown between Lawrence Okolie and Krzysztof Glowacki, live on Sky Sports in the UK and on DAZN in the U.S. and more than 200 countries and territories.

Main Event- 12 x 3 mins vacant WBO Cruiserweight World Title
LAWRENCE OKOLIE  v KRZYSTOF GLOWACKI 

Okolie started well on the back foot using his reach against Glowacki who immediately started to try and close the gap in the early stages. The Sauce looked for his right hand frequently in the opener and looked comfortable at range against a very seasoned opponent.

The British fighter started to unload slightly more with a couple of powerful combinations landing in the second round, but Glowacki looked rugged and firm in the ring taking the centre of the ring strongly. Okolie's jab continued to tie up his Polish opponent with his far superior reach a key weapon in the early stages.

Glowacki really struggled to deal with the reach as he worked his way around the ring, flicking frequent shots to the body which did not move the Hackney born fighter, who remained composed.

Okolie's jab remained free-flowing and effective during the fourth round, with Glowacki desperately trying to throw short punches on the inside, but being held well at arms-length. Okolie threw some more power punches during the middle of the round, rocking his opponent for the first time and using his jab to tee up the powerful right hand. A cut also opened up above the right eye of the experienced Polish fighter who really started to look concerned in his corner by the damaging combinations that landed in the round.

The Sauce continued to box well in the fifth, using the distance as a safeguard to land a frequent jab and right hand over the top. His movement looked loose and fluid to add to the frustration of Glowacki and his corner approaching the halfway stage.

A humungous shot from Okolie layed out Glowacki in the sixth round, and the Polish fighter never recovered and the referee stopped the fight.

Lawrence Okolie is the new WBO cruiserweight world champion with a sixth round stoppage of Krzystof Glowacki.

JOE CORDINA v FAROUKH KOURBANOV 

Cordina came out looking to establish his superb skillset early on, starting well using his jab and letting the fight take it's course in his ring return in the opener.

His fluidity and speed appeared ever-present in the early stages, with Kourbanov trying to stay with his Welsh opponent who just flicked his hands well to get rounnds under his belt.

The favourite continued at a good rhythm moving well, and mixing up his shot selection well planting his feet and working the body and head. Kourbanov tried to close the distance but could not get through the superb jab and accuracy of shots.

Kourbanov started to try and fire back in the fifth, but towards the end of the round Cordina planted his feet. The Welshman started to open up as it appeared he was beginning to really settle down back in the ring for the first time in 16 months.

Cordina maintained his domination as the fight went on, easing his way through the middle rounds with speed and agility which in truth Kourbanov couldn't keep up with.

Joe Cordina defeats Faroukh Kourbanov by unanimous decision in the co-main event of the evening. Scorecards were at 96-96, 98-93, 96-95.

ANTHONY FOWLER v JORGE FORTEA 

Fowler took the centre of the ring in the opener, with Fortea stalking the outside and trying to evade the frequent leading left hand of the Englishman in the opening stages. Fortea continued to try to slip and slide away from the shots, and responded well with some neat counter-punching flurries.

The second round continued the same with aggression from Fowler continuing against a solid defensive fighter in Fortea who moved well. The fight looked relatively even in the opening two rounds as Fowler landed well on the front foot but could not gain any real traction against the free-flowing Jorge Fortea.

A huge double shot from Anthony Fowler caught Fortea in the third round, sending him crashing to the canvas. Then another rapid flurry of shots from Fowler followed sending his opponent to the canvas again, and he was eventually counted out on the final bell.

Anthony Fowler defeats Jorge Fortea via third round stoppage to earn the WBA inter-continental super welterweight title.

ELLIE SCOTNEY  v MAILYS GANGLOFF 

An extremely lively start from Scotney who found the target at will in the opening round, firing huge shots on the front foot against Gangloff early on. She then continued to fight her way off the ropes efficiently going into the last of the opener.

The second continued perfectly from Scotney who refused to be roughed up by her opponent's attempts at aggression in the second, continuing to land at will.

Scotney continued at a ferocious pace in the third with Gangloff limited to back-foot single shots, and the Briton continued to show her potential with a neat boxing display approaching the halfway stage.

Although the domination continued, Gangloff showed her resillience and continued to battle hard in the fifth. Scotney however maintained her composure and showed her superior speed and aggression to maintain her control.

Ellie Scotney defeats Mailys Gangloff by decision in the six round featherweight contest. Scorecard was 59-55 on the night.

RAMLA ALI  v BEC CONNOLLY 

Ramla Ali dominated Bec Connolly throughout the fight looking extremely dangerous during the third round where Ali unloaded huge shots with both hands, and the referee had a close look for most of the round with the latter taking huge punishment.

Ali followed suit in the fifth continuing to chase a stoppage and dominating the fight, with Connolly looking in serious trouble and struggling to land any kind of combination of her own.

Ramla Ali defeats Bec Connolly by decision with referee Bob Williams scorecard at 60-55.

 

10 x 3 mins vacant WBA Continental Cruiserweight Title
CHRIS BILLAM-SMITH  v VASIL DUCAR 

Billam Smith started the brighter of the two in the early stages, using his leading left hand well to settle in and land his jab frequently through the guard of Ducar.

However Ducar was looking to make the fight more aggressive in the second, with a heavy right hand landing on Billam Smith who started to respond and try to throw back as he realised he had a fight on his hands. A further flurry of solid punches landed for Ducar towards the final bell.

Billam Smith burst into the life in the fourth landing a heavy right hand that evaded his guard and dropped him to the canvas just before the final bell, handing the Briton a 10-8 round.

Ducar went down again in the sixth with a whipping left hook into the body, but the tough fighter rose again but was closed down by Billam Smith once again.

A fiesty round between the pair as Ducar appeared recovered and threw some heavy shots of his own with Billam Smith eager to remain focussed and try to close the fight out.

Both men finished well, with Billam Smith refusing to be drawn into the fast powerful final exchanges, and trying to keep his opponent from gaining any momentum towards the final bell. Ducar landed a heavy flurry heading into the final seconds but it would not be enough for the victory.

Chris Billam Smith defeats Vasil Ducar by unanimous decision to retain his commonwealth cruiserweight title. Scorecards were at 99-90, 99-90, 97-92.
