Evgeny Romanov defeated Dmitry Kudryashov by unanimous decision in WBC bridgerweight eliminator

Romanov wins eliminatory bout and WBC Bridger Silver title

Russian contender Evgeny Romanov defeated compatriot Dmitry Kudryashov by unanimous decision over 12 rounds, in a WBC bridger elimination match, where the division’s Silver title was also at stake, at the Khimki Basketball Center in Russia.

Romanov (16-0, 11 KOs) dominated most of the fight, with better boxing and solid defense, over Kudryashov (24-4, 23 KOs) , who ran out of energy as the fight progressed.

On the same card, Russia’s Magomed Madiev (15-0-2) defeated Maxim Voshkov (9-1-1) by unanimous decision over 10 rounds to capture the vacant WBC Middleweight Silver international title.

In another bout, Ivan Kozlovsky (3-0) defeated Adam Kipenga (11-2) by unanimous decision in 10 rounds to win the WBC international super lightweight belt.
