Chisora vs. Parker tops a huge night of action in Manchester, Irish star Katie Taylor (17-0, 6 KOs) defends her Undisputed Lightweight crown against former amateur rival Natasha Jonas (9-1-1, 7 KOs), undefeated WBA Light-Heavyweight World Champion Dmitry Bivol (17-0, 11 KOs) puts his Title on the line against Craig Richards (16-1-1, 9 KOs).

Main Event

12 x 3 mins vacant WBO Intercontinental Heavyweight Title DEREK CHISORA vs JOSEPH PARKER

Chisora came flying out of the blocks and earned himself a knockdown in the opener right at the beginning as he threw leather but Parker appeared off balance in truth. He tried to get into a groove immediately after, not allowing himself to be bullied physically in the opening exchanges. He started to try and get himself back on top boxing well and landing well later in the opener.

Parker started to move better in the second round, allowing himself to not be made a stationery target for the aggressive Chisora who liked to plant his feet and load up again similarly to the fight against Oleksandr Usyk.

Del Boy started fast at the start of the third round, landing a huge right hand early on and maintaining his work-rate and square assaults. Parker was trying to keep the distance and box as Chisora came in, remaining composed and absorbing the vicious work to the body competently.

A no-nonsense approach continued from Chisora who continued to work the body and try to take the sting out of any Parker game-plan. He seemed to be landing the more consistent shots including a right hand over the top halfway through the round. It was emerging into a gruelling contest in the fourth and fifth rounds.

Parker looked the more energetic of the fighters in the sixth, seemingly comfortable fighting off the ropes and managing the fight with Chisora's rugged approach continuing. Chisora looked to be slightly tiring in the seventh round, lowering his work-rate and seemingly having less in the tank as another round went by.

The New Zealender opened up in round eight, landing a neat three punch combination on the counter that appeared to rock Chisora as he tried to force his own initiative. A top round from both men as they both thre very heavy combinations in a firefight in the centre of the ring with Parker finding answers to the Chisora body work. The Briton was running out of gas slowly as Parker seemed convinced that he was on top countering and responding to any leather thrown going into the final round.

Chisora had the joy early on in the last round throwing two huge bomb right hands over the top which caught Parker. The New Zealander tried putting his foot on the gas at the end, having a big final minute in a toe-to-toe round at the final bell. Incredible stuff from the pair of true gruelling heavyweights.

10 x 2 mins Undisputed Lightweight World Titles KATIE TAYLOR vs NATASHA JONAS

Taylor started well showing her skillset and fast hands early on, with Jonas struggling with the distance that Taylor started to dip in and out of at the start of the contest.

The Irish fighter continued to dictate the tempo in the second round, but Jonas remained evasive ducking and weaving and making herself a difficult target to find. A head clash threatened to mar the round, but action continued after a brief word from the referee.

Jonas started to settle into her rhythm in the third, countering well as Taylor tried to gain an advantage with her speed and agile frame. The fight started to shape up into a real contest now as the British fighter began to return.

Trainer Joe Gallagher continued to shout from Jonas' corner as she started to find some better success with a searing jab and a neat counter left hand. But Taylor seemed to remain composed and aware, not allowing herself to be hurt by the shots that she walked into. Taylor continued to be more busy and more accurate however outlanding her opponent in the fifth round, with Jonas not throwing enough leather at the moment.

Jonas landed a superb shot in the sixth that sparked a flurry of return punches from Taylor as the fight began to open up into a real scrap between the two sturdy warriors. A real round of spells for both as they start to trade power punches.

The British fighter started to make roads into Taylor in the seventh landing more frequently predominantly with a powerful leading left hook, and starting to have her own dominant spell in the contest with her corner confident that the tide was beginning to turn in her favour.

Jonas continued at a ferocious pace landing her own shots in a super eighth round, but Taylor appeared to counter her jolting assault with a right hand to the head of Jonas which halted her progress. Ferocious action continued as the fighters continued to trade with a lump appearing on the head of the challenger due to a couple of head clashes during the fight.

With high stakes in the undisputed clash, the fight went into the final round. It continued to be a back and forth affair with Taylor having the upper hand landing the more effective and accurate shots, which may have handed her the upper hand on the cards.

Katie Taylor defeats Natasha Jonas by unanimous decision over ten rounds to retain her undisputed lightweight titles. Scorecards were at 96-94, 96-95, 96-95.

4 x 3 mins Lightweight contest CAMPBELL HATTON vs LEVI DUNN

Hatton was in control in the first round on the front foot and trying to be the aggressor with energy and tempo early on. He worked angles well mixing it up to the body and head in the first round.

Tagged with some counters in the second round from Dunn, Hatton looked to try and work the body in the second round to remain in control of the contest.

Hatton continued his progression firing some shots in the second to the body under the vocal coaching from his uncle Matthew in his corner.

Campbell Hatton defeats Levi Dunn by decision over four rounds, with scorecard at 40-36.

10 x 3 mins Middleweight contest CHRIS EUBANK JR vs MARCUS MORRISON

Morrison started off with a snappy jab in the opener looking to try and set the tempo early on, and try to unsettle Eubank Jr who may be dealing with the rustiness of inactivity in the opener.

A second round followed a similar pattern with the favourite starting rather tentatively against a comfortable looking Morrison. He landed more towards the end of the second hurting his opponent with a left hook and a few damaging shots as he had him on the ropes to the left hand side of the ring. The power seemed to shake his opponent, but he stepped away and clearly keen on securing rounds under his belt.

The third round began with more positivity from Morrison who appeared re-energised and tried to counter as Eubank strutted around the ring trying to develop his character with more rounds under his belt. Morrison continued to counter and try to draw the fight away from Eubank Jr in the fourth, who didn't look concerned with seven rounds to go.

Eubank came with an aggressive charge on Morrison in the fifth landing some powerful shots that bloodied the nose of Morrison. It was not sustained however as Morrison did fire back at times and the Brighton fighter took his foot off the gas again.

He continued to pick Morrison apart at will, firing some powerful shots his way and keeping him firmly planted up against the ropes in round six. He tried little to respond other than loading up for big one shots that missed.

Eubank Jr continued to go through the gears as the fight progressed, with Morrison remaining standing and trading despite taking some heavier shots in previous rounds. In the ninth, Morrison tried to up his levels squaring his feet and trying to land his own shots on the counter which appeared to shake Eubank slightly.

Morrison showed tremendous determination countering and buzzing Eubank Jr in the final round who tried to launch an assault going to the final bell. However Eubank Jr finished the fight on top charging Morrison down with some heavy combinations to position his authority going to the scorecards.

Chris Eubank Jr takes the victory over Marcus Morrison by unanimous decision with judges scorecards all equal at 98-92.

12 x 3 mins WBA Light-Heavyweight World Title DMITRY BIVOL vs CRAIG RICHARDS

The fighters engaged in tentative exchanges in the early stages with Bivol clearly the more aggressive fighter from the off with Richards on the back foot and trying to gain range with the jab. A decent opener for Bivol with Richards having to remain focussed in the opening round.

The Russian started to look a class above in the second round, landing quickest to the jab and easily finding the target against Richards who looked stunned by some of his opponent's work.

Bivol's work continued to be neatly mixed up in the third round, teeing up some neat combinations over the top with his sturdy lead jab. Richards landed a neat right hand in the third which was his best spell of the fight, but found himself immediately on the back foot again as Bivol surged forward.

Rounds four and five proceeded simiarly with Bivol having the majority of the attacks but Richards decided to try and be more pro-active in the fifth towards the end managing to land a couple of jabs to the body. The sixth saw Bivol starting to unload some powerful combinations with Richards pinned in and really trying to fire back at an evasive target on the counter.

The seventh and eighth provided another tough three minutes for Richards who had more success when doubling up his jab and working behind it, but was largely maintained on the back foot by the high tempo created by the champion. Richards tried to trade more and plant his feet in the ninth, with limited success despite holding the centre of the ring more at times.

A tenth round saw the fight open up with Richards showing more urgency to try and hold his own, but Bivol continued to slip and slide from the aggression and land his own work. It continued in the eleventh as Richards started to try and land his own work in the round, holding his ground against a highly skilled operator.

Bivol slowed the tempo in the final round, as he seemed content to let the fight reach the scorecards despite Richards' attempts to try and land something big in the final three minutes.

4 x 3 mins Heavyweight contest JOHNNY FISHER vs PHIL WILLIAMS

Fisher began as the aggressor as expected with the Romford Bull already throwing well from the hip and picking his shots well. His raw power and talent already shone through in the opening exchanges, and was boxing well despite Williams being on the back foot and clinching regularly.

His superb jab continued throughout landing some better combinations as the second round progressed, but he started to look frustrated with the defence and sturdy frame of Williams.

The third provided the breakthrough for Fisher, who landed heavy shots to the body. Williams looked out on his feet and the referee stepped in to stop the gruelling punishment from Fisher.

Johnny Fisher secures the third round stoppage over Phil Williams to boost his professional record to 2-0.

12 x 3 mins vacant IBO Lightweight World Title JAMES TENNYSON vs JOVANNI STRAFFON

An incredible opener with both fighters going toe-to-toe in the early stages. Tennyson was visibly rocked by Straffon initially and then he was dropped with one minute left in the round. Incredibly Straffon dropped Tennyson with a tremendous left hook and he was instantly out on his feet. He rose to the ten count, but the referee had no option but to stop the fight. A huge shock to open the night.
