Eddie Hearn was contacted by Don King this week who told him he has Lovejoy under contract - Lovejoy did not declare this when initially signing.

Hearn tried to work things out with King, but no agreement was reached.

Allen informed fans on his Instagram page: "I am gutted and sorry to say that my fight with Mr. Lovejoy will not be going ahead. I will not be fighting Saturday, I am maybe in the best shape of my career, but luck has not been on my side.

"I have been told I will fight before the year is out and will start training for that this evening."
