Arijan Goricki defeated Jozsef Ajtai in round two

23-year-old Arijan Goricki (7-0-1, 3KOs) defeated Jozsef Ajtai (22-17, 14KOs) to take his KO count to three from seven victories on December 12 in Germany.

The six-fight card featured a sextet of unbeaten prospects, who were 43 fights undeafted between them, and all six remained that way.

From Zagreb, 'Archie' Goricki scored his sventh win, with a second consecutive stoppage result over former Hungarian champion Ajtai.

'Archie' commented on his latest success, "Although he was experienced, he was physically smaller then me, he couldn't take my punches for too long. 

"From round one, I was first with the jab, Jozsef was trying to escape, so he was moving through the ring. Then starting of the second round, he was starting to stand in front of me, which was a bad idea. I hit him in the spleen, he was down on his knee, to save some time for himself and come to air, then I put him down with a punch in the liver, he was get up again and try to run to survive the round, I cut the ring off and forced him to throw in defence, then with a clean counter punch I hit him with a shot in the head, more precisely behind the ear, that must disturbed his equilibrium and he immediately fell on the floor, and the judge was right to stop the fight.

"This was my first eight-round fight, I wanted to go until later rounds, but then opportunity came and I didn't want to miss it, because I can find myself in the very same position as well, if I make just one mistake."
