'Born Rivals' Chris Eubank Jr. (34-3, 25KO) and Conor Benn (23-0, 14KO) will do battle in a fierce grudge match on Saturday, April 26, at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium in North London, live on DAZN.
After their eventful press conference yesterday, it was revealed that there is a rematch clause in their contract which means they could fight again in 2025.
It appears that both Benn and Eubank have agreed a second fight regardless of the outcome of fight one, which could be scheduled to take place in December this year, meaning any future ambitions for world titles will be temporarily placed on hold while they settle their long-running feud.
During yesterday's presser, BOXXER promoter Ben Shalom questioned why there was a rematch clause in place if Benn's team were so confident of winning, to which Matchroom's Eddie Hearn instantly replied, "It was Eubank's team that asked for it!"
There is due to be another press conference today at 6pm in London.
Things got very ugly in yesterday's press conference when Eubank Jr. decided to play the bad guy and smash an egg into the side of Benn's face while they went head to head for the first time since launching this new fight date.

Hearn was fuming at the attack, “He’s taken an egg to a press conference, he’s sat at the press conference the whole time with an egg, and he’s slapped Conor Benn in the eye with an egg.
"The world we live in today, it will go viral, people will think it’s quite amusing, but I will tell you one thing, in the fight game, everything changes now about this fight. This fight was heated, this fight had bad blood, but everything has changed tonight, from that. And I don’t know if we can do Thursday’s press conference now because it will be attack on sight.”
Nigel Benn was on stage when the events unfurled and was even quick enough to catch Chris by the throat before being pulled away by security.

On Thursday, February 27, they will collide again in the capital where they meet at the scene of their April 26 clash at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with the second press conference starting from 6pm.
