Youngest world champion set for fourth WBC title defence at just 18-years-old
Camila Zamorano set for fourth WBC world title defence

Camila Zamorano vs Brenda Balderas
The thrill of world-class boxing is set to hit the beaches of Acapulco in full force, as part of the 64th World Boxing Council Annual Convention.
In a highly anticipated fight night presented by Zanfer Boxing, WBC Atomweight World Champion Camila Zamorano will defend her Green and Gold Belt against fierce contender Brenda Balderas on Thursday, November 12, 2026.
The main event and the full card were officially unveiled during the traditional Martes de Café press conference, detailing the highlights of a fight night that will complement a historic week in the port of Acapulco, bringing together iconic legends, champions, and key figures from the international boxing community.
The evening features a series of high-impact matchups across the co-main and undercard bouts.
Camila Zamorano vs Brenda Balderas
Mexican phenomenon Camila Zamorano (15-0, 1 KO) defends her WBC atomweight title for a fourth time to challenger Brenda Balderas (9-9-2, KOs) at the age of just 18.
At 17 years and 180 days, Zamorano became the youngest female world champion in history in June 2025.
'La Magnifica' has since defended the green and gold belt three times, in October 2025, February and August 2026, each time winning via unanimous decision.
She began boxing at 11 and compiled an amateur record of 53-4, turning pro whilst she was still attending high school at 16.
15 victories and three titles later, Zamorano has the world at her feet, but she has a tricky opponent to tackle on November 12.
Brenda Balderas Martinez is 13 years her senior and comes into this contest following a knockout victory just last month.
Despite a chequered career, Balderas has only lost one from her last seven bouts, and her last three wins have all come via knockout.
Luis Nery vs Sem Japet Enano
The former two-division world champion from Tijuana (Bantamweight and Super Bantamweight) makes his return to Mexican rings following his international commitments and recent stint fighting in Asia.
“Pantera” is looking for a decisive victory to put himself back on the fast track toward another world title opportunity at 122 or 126 pounds.
Standing across from him will be Filipino contender Sem Japet Enano, an awkward, high-volume southpaw riding a win streak after capturing a regional featherweight title in Australia.
Jonathan Fierro vs Martín Sosa
The hard-hitting knockout artist from Sinaloa—regarded as one of the most solid rising stars in Mexican boxing with devastating power (boasting a near-87% knockout rate)—takes to the ring aiming to cement his status among the top world rankings in the featherweight and super featherweight divisions.
Opposite him will be Argentina’s Martín Sosa, a gritty, resilient fighter packing the classic South American heart who will be looking to pull off the upset in Acapulco.
Esneidy Rodríguez
The event will also feature top-prospect Esneidy Rodríguez, adding youth and exceptional skill to a fight night that promises non-stop action for boxing fans.
Where to Watch
The main card in Acapulco will be broadcast live on ESPN and subsequently aired on TV Azteca.
