Shannon Courtenay becomes OnlyFans sponsored athlete

British MVP boxer Shannon Courtenay has officially joined OnlyFans as a sponsored athlete as she targets a return to world-title contention following her recent resurgence under Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions banner.

A former WBA bantamweight world champion, Courtenay has joined the monetisation platform on a string of three consecutive wins, including a victory over Sasha Booker in April.

Courtenay is currently training for a return to the ring later this year, and will use her OnlyFans page to share exclusive insights into her journey back to the very top of women’s boxing. Fans can expect a mix of training footage, workouts and behind-the-scenes content, offering a closer look at the preparation required to perform at an elite level.

Shannon Courtenay said“It’s a really exciting time for women’s boxing, especially in the UK, so it felt like the perfect moment to do something like this. I’m already sharing a lot of my training online and people are always asking for tips and advice, so it made sense to bring everything into one place where I can give fans more and be rewarded for it. Boxing can be unpredictable, especially for women, so having that extra support behind the scenes is massive. It gives me a way to bring fans properly into my journey, show the work that goes in, and build something outside of the fight nights.”

Courtenay’s move comes at a pivotal moment for women’s boxing. The sport is experiencing renewed momentum, driven by home grown and international boxing stars, as well as Most Valuable Promotions’ expansion into the UK market.

Courtenay credits Paul as a key figure behind the sport’s resurgence, saying: “Jake is central to getting women’s boxing back out there. There’s now a light shining on women’s boxing for the first time in a long time.”

In joining the platform, Courtenay follows in the footsteps of fellow professional boxers Shauna Browne and Terri “Belter” Harper, as well as elite combat athletes like UFC legend Stipe Miocic, and MMA fighter Shauna Bannon.

Through her partnership with OnlyFans, Courtenay is able to access additional financial backing as she continues her professional journey. Securing funding remains a key challenge for many athletes, particularly those still building their careers. OnlyFans provides an alternative income stream, allowing sports professionals to monetise their content, showcase behind-the-scenes content and support both training and day-to-day expenses.

The platform also spotlights sports creators via its sport docu-series Rise & Grind, which is free to view on OFTV, OnlyFans’ on-demand, safe-for-work video streaming platform. The series offers an unfiltered glimpse into the daily grind of elite athletes, featuring the trainers, loved ones, and opponents who helped shape them into champions.
