British boxing hero backs Jake Paul to pull off ‘the biggest upset in sporting history’ against Anthony Joshua

It's not all doom and gloom for Jake Paul as boxing legend backs him to win

We are now just hours away from one of the most shocking fights in heavyweight boxing history.

Two-time unified heavyweight champion of the world Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KO’s) is taking on the relatively inexperienced Jake Paul (12-1, 7 KO’s) in Miami, Florida.

Joshua is highly touted to put on a clinic, with many in the boxing world predicting that ‘The Problem Child' won't survive to see the second round.

Paul has built up a respectable record, though most of his wins come over UFC stars and boxers past their prime.

His lone loss came at the hands of Tommy Fury - the younger brother of Tyson Fury - and while the British fighter is a bona fide professional, he is miles off the level of the killers sitting at the top of the boxing world.

Despite the uphill battle Paul faces, not everyone is expecting a disaster from the American showman. 

David Haye - who previously was betting against Paul - has since taken a U-turn, backing the influencer-turned-boxer to pull of the unimaginable.

“I think something dramatic’s gonna happen,” he told The Sun.

“For instance, if AJ’s Achilles snaps in the first round, what happens if he dislocates his shoulder?

“I’m going the complete opposite way. I think it’s gonna be the biggest, somehow. I don’t know how it’s gonna happen, but I think it’s gonna be the biggest upset in sporting history.

“I think there’s something that’s gonna happen, either a no contest or something, a cut, for instance, a big clash of heads or something’s gonna happen.

“I don’t know why, I’m going the opposite way. Something’s gonna happen.”
